Marketing & Loyalty Analyst
SUMMARY
The Buff City Soap Marketing & Loyalty Analyst will play a pivotal role in leveraging insights from our 3.0 million Buff Rewards members by utilizing first-party loyalty data (Como). This position is responsible for analyzing customer behavior and performance metrics to drive data-informed decisions and strategic initiatives. This role will support our internal stakeholders and Franchisee partners with customer-level analytics and will require close partnership with Finance, Marketing, Ecommerce, IT, and our external loyalty provider and media agency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis & Reporting
Utilize the loyalty system BI tool and data warehouse to run queries, create KPI reports, and track customer behavior metrics like retention and new guest acquisition
Track and report real time results for various Loyalty offers and promotion strategies
Conduct ad hoc analyses for business and franchisee needs, such as basket sizes, cross-product trials, and repeat purchase patterns.
Work closely with Finance team to contribute to monthly Marketing Scorecard, Operating Reviews and Board presentations
Lead big data ad hoc analyses in partnership with GA Insights team
Collaborate with IT and Ecommerce to establish a comprehensive 360-degree view of the Buff City Soap customer as a key member of loyalty Integration team
CRM & Campaign Management
Design and deploy CRM messaging and offers through our in-house CRM tool using segmentation and Insights from loyalty data
Support agency and franchise partners in optimizing campaigns by leveraging 1st party data
Evaluate the success of National and local marketing efforts and media campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS
2-5 years of experience In Marketing or Business Analytics
Strong understanding of marketing analytic principles (customer segmentation, campaign performance, A/B testing)
Strong data management skills with the ability to query, sort, aggregate and manipulate large quantitative data sets
Proficiency In data analysis tools, such a as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
Working knowledge of SQL (or similar programming language)
Impeccable attention to detail
Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling productive partnerships with franchisees, cross-functional peers, and external vendors
Self-starter and ability to work as part of a team, managing deadlines with minimal supervision
Experience working in Franchisee and/or Retail environment
Bachelor’s degree required (business, marketing, or similar)
